The Namibia Press Agency, (NAMPA), was established in 1991 as a national news agency responsible for the distribution of local, regional and international news.

NAMPA Rundu Bureau

The Namibia Press Agency's Kavango Regional office is based in the town of Rundu, situated in the north-eastern part of the country.

The office is also responsible for providing news and events coverage in towns such as Nkurenkuru and Katima Mulilo in the Caprivi region.

This regional office covers issues pertaining to the Southern African Development Community (SADC), as the Kavango Region borders countries such as Angola,

Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.

The office is located within the Government Office Complex, Office No. B8, just opposite the Kavango Regional Council's building.

The Rundu Regional Bureau Chief is Mrs Sawi Hausiku-Lutibezi, and she can be contacted at the office telephone number 066-255 302.
