NAIROBI, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- On the farm in Siaya County, western Kenya, tall, lush green plants with brown heads stand beautifully in straight lines, making a nice pattern.
The owner of the one-acre farm, Vincent Apiyo, has erected scarecrows at various points to scare away birds from destroying the crop -- sorghum -- his cash cow.
