Geingob urges traditional authorities to stop infighting

WINDHOEK, 10 SEP (NAMPA) – President Hage Geingob has appealed to traditional authorities to refrain from infighting and to focus their attention on nation-building.
He made the appeal during the official opening of the 21st Annual Meeting of the Council of Traditional Leaders here on Monday.
“Unfortunately, the integrity of our traditional authorities has come under threat due to infighting and instances of leadership succession disputes that prevail to date,” Geingob said.
