WINDHOEK, 19 JUL (NAMPA) – Namibia’s win against Seychelles in the opening match of the Council of Southern African Football Associations (Cosafa) U-17 Championship is motivation for them to do even better, team coach Paul ‘Shakes’ Malembu has said.
The tournament is currently underway in Mauritius.
Namibia, who are in Group A alongside Botswana and host Mauritius, won their opening match 8-3 against Seychelles Thursday morning at the St Francois Xavier Stadium in Port Louis.

NSFAF pays final settlements for 2017

WINDHOEK, 19 JUL (NAMPA) – The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) has paid 14 000 students N.dollars 3 000 each as final settlement of outstanding non-tuition fees for 2017.
NSFAF Acting Chief Executive Officer, Kennedy Kandume in a media statement on Thursday said the payments were made by 06 July.
