OPUWO, 20 OCT (NAMPA) – More than a thousand residents of Opuwo and nearby villages in the Kunene Region turned up Friday at the Newman Katuta Sport Complex to pay tribute to the late governor Angelika Muharukua.
Nampa spoke to some mourners at the memorial service, specifically on how they would remember the late governor.

Moses Garoeb Project School named after late Iyambo

WINDHOEK, 20 OCT (NAMPA) – The Moses Garoeb Project Primary School in Windhoek’s Havana informal settlement has been renamed after late Minister of Education, Abraham Iyambo.
The project school was established in 2012 with 12 tents, 14 teachers and 470 learners.
Due to a high demand for school space in the Moses Garoeb Constituency, the school is now accommodated in prefabricated structures consisting of 30 classrooms and mini-administrative block.
