WINDHOEK, 18 DEC (NAMPA) – Katutura-based Namibia Premier League outfit Orlando Pirates ended off the first leg of the NPL in style when they collected six points over the weekend to move up to sixth on the log.
Pirates beat Tigers 3-1 Friday night, then Tura Magic 2-1 on Sunday, to move to sixth position with 21 points from their 15 first leg fixtures.

NC condemns human trafficking

WINDHOEK, 18 DEC (NAMPA) – The National Council (NC) has strongly condemned human trafficking and slavery.
Reacting to recent media reports on the alleged sexual exploitation of a Namibian woman who fell victim to human trafficking in the United Kingdom, NC Chairperson Margaret Mensah-Williams said Parliament plays an important role in ending the practice.
